The Miss Davison Scholarship Pageant is program for high school aged girls who live in Davison or attend Davison Schools. Each year the Pageant selects a Miss Davison and two Court Members who serve as youth ambassadors to represent our community and appear at various events and functions throughout the Davison area. They also promote and represent Davison and the Festival of Flags at various festivals, parades and other events throughout the mid-Michigan area. The program awards $2,000 to the young ladies selected as Miss Davison and Court.
The Miss Davison Program is designed to provide young ladies with the skills necessary to become successful, well-rounded women by building confidence and developing character, personal growth, public speaking and interviewing skills. The program encourages education, community service and leadership and provides a positive role model to the young people of our area.
There is no talent or swimsuit competition and beauty is not a judging criteria.

*Qualifications to participate in the Pageant are:
1. Girls must graduate in 2024 or be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in the 2024-2025 school year or
be 15 to 18 years old as of May 19, 2024.
2. Girls must attend or graduate from Davison High/Alternative High School (minimum of two years) or
live in 48423 zip code or live in the Davison School District. (Exceptions will be evaluated on a case by case basis)
3. Girls should be able to meet and greet people with a smile and engage in friendly conversation.
4. Each candidate must have a business or organization as a sponsor.
* The Pageant will be June 20, 2024, 7pm in the Davison High School Auditorium.
* All judging will take place the day of the Pageant. The candidates will be judged in six categories:
1. Personality 4. Overall Image
2. Poise 5. Scholastic and Community Involvement and Achievement
3. Communication Skills 6. Pageant Responsibility
* A total of $2,000 will be awarded in scholarships to Miss Davison and her Court.
* The young women chosen as Miss Davison 2024 and her Court will represent Davison at various community events
during their reign.
* Each candidate will participate in the Miss Davison Princess Program and will be paired with a young girl to mentor
and crown as a princess on stage during the Pageant.
*An Informational Meeting will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the DCER/Cardinal Station Building, 10183 Lapeer Road, Davison, MI 48423. You should attend with a parent/guardian. Details of the Pageant will be discussed, and entry forms will be available at that time. If you are unable to attend, please contact us for additional information and an entry form.
Entry Deadline is Friday, May 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
